Ushwin's RCM Assistant, a Biller's Best Friend

Most billing companies want to take over all your billing and charge you a percentage of revenue.

At Ushwin, we work differently. We have two pricing models: 1) hourly pricing as your in-house biller's RCM Assistant, or 2) traditional pricing as a % of revenue.

1. RCM Assistant Hourly Pricing

With our RCM Assistant model, we step in (for as little as 5 hours per week) to assist your in-house billing team with tasks that they are overwhelmed by.

For instance, the 5 hours could include 2 hours on insurance calling, 2 hours on corrected claims (ex. working your Holds bucket in AthenaHealth), and 1 hour on EOB entry (ex. EOB entry in OfficeAlly's Practice Mate).

In some cases, practices call us when they need spot-help with something such as a coder not performing (too many coding errors), a coder or AR caller departing the practice, temporary leaves of absence for key billing personnel, etc.

Your billing team is always in control, and directs us on the activities they want done and the time allocation for each. Moreover, you can change your RCM Assistant's time allocation from one week to the next as past-pending tasks get completed and new tasks demand attention.

As a result, Ushwin's RCM Assistant:

  • Reduces billing stress significantly, and is an in-house medical biller's best friend.
  • Leads to a happier, less error-prone, and more efficient in-house billing environment.
  • Seamlessly gets to work right away (as soon as you sign the contract) on addressing your most-pressing tasks.
  • Aligns with your existing medical billing workflow, without any disruptions and virtually zero lag-time (because we aren't taking on your entire billing).
  • Immediately improves on-time billing and collections, reduces outstanding AR, and delivers high ROI.

2. Traditional Full-Service Billing Model

Alternately, practices often call us when their primary biller abruptly leaves (or must be fired due to unscrupulous or fraudulent activity). In such instances, we step in and take-over your entire billing. In doing so, we make sure we align with your existing billing model, so our onboarding process is minimally disruptive.
